Supplies :
Items in a kit :
- 6 gr. henna powder
- pipe with a nib
- 100 designs
You will have to complete your kit with the following items :
- mineral water for the mixture
- a stick to mix
- gloves
- tracing paper
- deodorant stick, transparent like "Menen" for example
- a black or blue felt pen
Henna preparation
Mixture : 4 quantities of water for 1 of powder.
Once the water is in the pipe, use something like a business card fold in two to poor the powder. Then mix with a stick until you get something homogeneous. Try it on you, if the mixture dribbles, add a bit of powder. If the mixture is too thick, add a very little of water with a needle in the pipe.
Once the mixture is ready, introduce the metal nib or tip, block it with your gloves and shake it for a few seconds.
A pipe is enough for about 30 tattoos. Before starting, always try it on you and never forget to wear gloves.
Once you finished, never forget to wash or rinse all your tools.
Tattooing preparation
The chosen design will be copied on the tracing paper with the felt pen. Put some deodorant on the skin area you are going to tattoo. Put the tracing paper on the skin, felt pen side on the skin. Press enough so the design is copied on the skin.
Colour with henna by following the contours of the design.
The client cannot move while you are tattooing. It is totally dry after 30 to 45 seconds but it is preferable to wait 5 hours before taking off the film warm water. You will have to watch than nothing will touch the tattoo before it is dry.
You can use henna after five minutes and for eight hours after the preparation is done. After that henna will not be as colourful. If you just want to do a few small coatings, mix less product. Once you finished, never forget to wash or rinse all your tools.
We remind you that we are not responsible in case of allergy to henna. It is recommended to do a test 24 hours prior for a first henna use. |
